Thomas Orbert, CEO & CIO
25 years in markets. Thomas has held roles as quantitative analyst and market maker at SEB and Nordea as well as UBS in London. From 2008 to 2015 Thomas worked for Nektar as a portfolio manager for a relative value strategy with a focus on inflation markets. After Nektar, Thomas researched and developed the proprietary framework behind Truepenny.

Thomas holds a MSc Civil engineering from KTH and undertook PhD level studies in Finance at SSE.
Fredrik Sundvall, CTO
27 years in markets. Fredrik started out as a quantitative analyst at SEB, focused on developing models and processes for trading, risk and analysis. During his 20 years at SEB Fredrik held roles including Head of IT and e-trading, risk advisory, portfolio manager and Head of Markets Latvia. In 2016, Fredrik joined Nordea to focus on cross-nordic strategic project implementations and lead a block chain consortium across banks for fund clearing.

Fredrik holds a MSc in Economic from Uppsala University and an Executive MBA from SSE.

Helena Johnson, Chairperson
Helena is an experienced and results-driven leader with over 30 years in finance and strategy, of which a large part of the time was in leading positions. Helena has a documented good reputation in board work, through her work on several boards as well as CEO of a mutual fund company. Furthermore, Helena possesses extensive financial and operational knowledge as a former CFO/COO for Pareto, as well as good knowledge of people through her role as HR manager for LC&I an IM in SEB. Helena has also worked as a management consultant at BCG, where she delivered strategies and innovative solutions for a wide range of businesses and currently serves as an investment manager for a family office.
Helena holds an MBA from SSE.
Gunnar Wiljander
Gunnar Wiljander has over 35 years of experience working within financial companies, including SEB; Swedbank and HSBC. For 10 years, Gunnar was, among other things, CEO of Nektar Asset Management AB and is currently a board member of, among other things, Atle Investment Services AB and acts as an advisor to several fund companies through his own consulting firm.
Gunnar holds a BA in economics and business administration from SSE.
